1 The security of hardware is only as good as its use: strong passwords, up-to-date software, responsible handling of credentials and physical access control are the responsibility of the users. We are happy to advise you on best practices.
2 Apple Silicon (M series) is the ideal basis for local AI: high energy efficiency, shared memory (unified memory) for CPU and GPU with plenty of room for large language models, and mature ML frameworks (MLX, Metal). Compared with classic x86 systems with a dedicated GPU you get considerably more tokens per watt — quiet, durable and with minimal power consumption. Delivery times are currently very volatile.
3 On request — configuration, model choice or project effort determine the price. The hardware and software world for AI is evolving rapidly; we quote for your current requirement instead of selling outdated packages. For the AI box “Agent/Bot” we also recommend an isolated computer with its own email address, without access to confidential data or internal networks. For technically experienced customers we can also set up more demanding agent frameworks such as OpenClaw on request.
4 NVIDIA DGX Spark is NVIDIA’s compact AI workstation building block for local inference and fine-tuning — based on the Grace Blackwell platform with large, shared GPU memory. Hardware-identical models are also available from third-party manufacturers (including ASUS, HP, Dell, Lenovo, MSI, Acer, Gigabyte) — usually the same chip and reference design, with a different case and software bundle. We advise on the right variant. Delivery times are currently very volatile.
5 Apple hardware (guide price): Apple presented the new generation on 25 August 2026, with deliveries from 22 September 2026. “From 2,450 €” refers to an AI box based on the Mac mini M6 with 32 GB of memory (for 48 or 64 GB the M5 Pro variant that Apple continues to sell alongside is a prerequisite), “from 5,450 €” refers to an AI box based on the Mac Studio (18-core CPU / 40-core GPU) with 64 GB of memory (configurations with 256 GB of memory are available; a 512 GB configuration has been announced but could not be ordered at market launch and has not yet been priced by Apple). 6 DGX Spark (guide price): “from 7,450 €” is based on a hardware-identical OEM variant (see 4). For the NVIDIA DGX Spark Founders Edition the price may differ, depending on availability — we advise on the right variant.

Since 2023 we have been intensively researching and implementing generative AI and train companies specifically in the privacy-compliant use of local AI solutions.
